Scope
Growth Control Center Local is a single-operator application that runs on the operator's Mac. It uses Google OAuth to access only websites and analytics properties that the operator is already authorized to view.
Google data accessed
- Google Analytics aggregated reporting data, including audience, acquisition, page, and event metrics.
- Google Search Console performance, query, page, sitemap, and URL inspection data.
- Property names and access information needed to confirm that the requested source is available.
The app requests the analytics.readonly and webmasters.readonly scopes. It does not request permission to modify Google Analytics or Search Console settings.
How data is used
Authorized data is used only to create local dashboards, source-health checks, trend comparisons, and read-only recommendations for the operator's own websites. It is not used for advertising, user profiling, or training public machine-learning models.
Storage and sharing
- OAuth client credentials and refresh credentials are stored in macOS Keychain.
- Retrieved analytics and search reports are stored in a local SQLite database on the operator's Mac.
- The app does not store email addresses, user IDs, IP addresses, uploaded files, or file contents.
- Google user data is not sold, shared, or transferred to third parties.
These public information pages are hosted by Vercel and may generate ordinary hosting security logs. They do not receive the Google Analytics or Search Console report data held by the local application.
Retention and deletion
Report data remains in the local database until the operator deletes that database or removes the application. Credentials can be removed from macOS Keychain. Google access can also be revoked from the Google Account's third-party connections settings. Revoking access stops future collection but does not automatically delete data already stored on the Mac.
Security
The dashboard listens only on the local loopback address. Credentials are not written to the application repository, SQLite database, public website, or application logs. No security method can guarantee absolute protection, so the operator remains responsible for securing the Mac and Google account.
Google API Services User Data Policy
The application's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
