Personal, read-only use
Growth Control Center Local is provided as a private reporting tool for the operator's own authorized websites. It may be used only with Google Analytics and Search Console properties that the operator has a legitimate right to access.
No modification authority
The application reads reports and generates recommendations. It does not automatically modify websites, analytics settings, Search Console properties, advertising, payments, or user accounts. Recommendations require separate human review and authorization before action.
Account responsibilities
- Keep the Mac, Google account, and local Keychain protected.
- Do not grant the application access to properties you are not authorized to use.
- Review Google's consent screen and requested read-only scopes before authorizing.
- Revoke access promptly if the Mac, account, or credentials may have been compromised.
Data and recommendations
Google reports can be delayed, sampled, thresholded, incomplete, or temporarily unavailable. The application distinguishes cached or missing data where possible, but its dashboards and recommendations are provided for operational review and are not guarantees of traffic, revenue, ranking, or business outcomes.
Availability
Google APIs, local software, network access, and hosting services can change or become unavailable. The tool is provided on an as-available basis without a promise of uninterrupted operation.
Stopping use
Use can be stopped at any time by revoking Google access, removing the related macOS Keychain items, and deleting the local application database. These actions do not change data retained by Google under Google's own policies.
